Richard F. Scheig, Ph. D.

Dr. Scheig is President and CEO of Scheig Associates. Dr. Scheig earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and his masters degree in Sociology before completing the doctoral studies program in Sociology at the University of Missouri, Columbia. Dr. Scheig taught at the university level for 14 years and left academia to start Scheig Associates. Over the past 25 years Scheig Associates has developed more than 70 job specific, behaviorally based pre employment assessments that have been used by Fortune 500 companies and hundreds of thousands of job applicants all over the world.

Dr. Scheig travels as a trainer, presenter and keynote speaker on the topics of employee selection and performance. The Scheig System identifies high performing employees from a pre-employment domain that produces competitive advantages for employers over other methodologies often used by human resource departments. Dr. Scheig's basic tenant that performance begins with selection, is at the core of the system and creates the basis on which he has successfully grown the company for nearly a quarter of a century.

Dr. Scheig lives in Gig Harbor, Washington with his wife of 40 years, Judy.
